Pennsylvania Health Literacy Coalition (PAHLC) members, you might have noticed that our health literacy blog has been in a hibernation for a little while. The PAHLC team has been working behind the scenes to deliver training and workshops, host events, and provide technical assistance to organizations working to deliver more health literate care. Through our work and the work of our partner organizations, we’ve educated more than 5,000 providers in the Commonwealth in the past two years.

Our 2020 resolutions include reinvigorating our blog and social media presence (@PAHealthLit). In the coming year, we will use this space to dive into new topics including navigation, patient and family education policies, partner profiles, patient engagement, and opioids. We are incredibly excited to share lessons learned, highlight best practices, and feature the work of partner organizations in Pennsylvania.
